Stun Guns

A Stun Gun is defined as a hand-held electronic Self Defense device that produces a high-voltage, low amperage pulse that can immobilize a person for several minutes with no permanent damage in most cases if used correctly.

When you hold the Stun Gun against an attacker and press the trigger, the high voltage charge passes through his clothing and skin and dumps a lot of very confusing information into his nervous system.  Because of this confusion, he has a difficult time controlling his muscles and he may become confused and unbalanced.  In essence, he is partially and temporarily paralyzed.

In addition, this current will tell the attacker's muscles to do a great deal of work in a very short amount of time, depleting their energy reserves and leaving him too weak to move (ideally).  Since Stun Guns work on muscles and nerves and they are all over the body, it doesn't matter where you apply the pressure.

 

Even if the attacker is touching you - the current will NOT pass to your body.
